Why I?
Having only recently waved goodbye to her thirtieth birthday Kate Fox looks back on a life that includes radio journalism, stand up comedy, performance poetry, gun running, palm reading as well as her much publicised addiction to chocolate. Hers has been a life that has had more packed in to it than a holiday suitcase. In this book her obsessions are laid bare, rolled on to their backs and tickled in to submission. This is a poetry book where Trinny and Susannah rub shoulders with Sylvia Plath and David Hasselhoff and Henry VIII meets Eminem. Kate is a bright shining neon sign of a poet. This is her first book; her second has already been commissioned. Dip into the box, dig deep in to the layers, and don't be afraid of the hard centres.
